"LTA is an organization and sisterhood that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart. LTA has been my first safe space to grow as a leader, as a sister, as a professional, and as a womxn of color. LTA means something more than words could ever describe, it’s something that has to be experienced and felt. Throughout my journey at the University of Washington, becoming a sister of LTA has been the best decision I have ever made. Through LTA, I have and continue to experience, to learn, to reflect, to love, and to grow. LTA has allowed me to develop experiences that I have learned and grown from, and experiences I will keep very close to my heart. This beautiful sisterhood has allowed me to cross paths and develop a true connection with many beautiful, unique, kindhearted, and strong individuals I am so proud to call my sisters for life. Sisters that truly have my best interest at heart. LTA to me means true empowerment not degradation, life experiences, growth, sisterhood, belonging, a safe space, our principles–– unity, love, respect. It means something so special, something more than words could ever explain"
